Administration and Finance

The administrative and finance department is responsible for the following: 

  • Accounting and financial matters of the Road Commission
  • Providing general accounting services for all Road Commission departments
  • Making payments to contractors and suppliers
  • Collecting payments due the Road Commission
  • Preparing employee compensation
  • Safeguarding of all assets and records of the Road Commission
  • Providing information for various annual reports including the audit, Act 51 Report and the Road Commission Annual Report
  • Conducting annual inventory of parts, equipment and materials
  • Preparation of revenue projections and expenditure figures
  • Personnel matters, employee benefits, employee relations and other administrative functions

The employees of the Administrative and Finance Department work under the direct supervision of the Finance Director Danean Wright 989-686-4610 ext 223.
