Winter Safety Takes Everybody's Help!
Did You Know?
- Your mailbox is on the road right-of-way.
This is permitted by the Road Commission as
a convenience to you.
- If snow plowing damages or knocks your mailbox
down, please understand, it can happen.
- Road Commission policy is to review and consider
for limited replacement value any mailboxes
damaged or hit by our equipment. It's
a tough call and we do our best to satisfy everyone,
so we need your understanding and cooperation.
- Newspaper, shopping guide or advertising
tubes should be located near the mailbox on
the same side of the road. Please help
our drivers and keep our roads safe.
